Championing Conservation with Creativity
Blending strategy, design, and storytelling to drive environmental impact.
How did I get here?
It’s all about passion and dedication. Since I was 10, I knew saving animals, forests, and oceans was my purpose. My life experiences cultivated a diverse perspective, and I’m able to bring learnings across many industries to the most noble cause on Earth, conservation.
I never gave up. That’s how I got here.

Let’s check out some of the projects I’ve worked on over the past couple of years.

Clean Water for Reefs Campaign
Video Collab with BBC Storyworks
Securing clean water for reefs has been and will continue to be an ongoing mission of the Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL). About 6 months after joining the team, I had the honor of being a contributing part of our partnership with BBC Storyworks and the making of the Blue Horizons series. The film crew wasn’t scuba certified, so I jumped in and filmed the underwater portions of our mini-documentary. Talk about an HONOR. Since then, my underwater videography and photography skills are only growing.
Give it a watch 🪸
Behind-the-Scenes Video
And just for fun, check out the Behind-the-Scenes footage below. We had a great time just hanging out and getting to know each other and CORAL’s work.
Clean Water Supporting Articles
In addition to the videos, I worked alongside the program teams in the Western Caribbean to create a CWFR toolkit and a series of articles to promote it in the Summer of 2024. We have a long way to go, but we’re happy with its start.
Conservation Storytelling Webinar
After the toolkit launched, I had the opportunity to sit down with Shawn Vela, 22-time Emmy award-winning producer, and talk about storytelling for conservation and our episode on clean water.

Coral Bleaching Campaign
Coral Bleaching Toolkit & Comprehensive Guide
As the world warms, the ocean becomes too hot for its inhabitants, like coral reef ecosystems. Climate change is our number one concern. Without this solution, everything else will fail. There are plenty of organizations and individuals leading the way to a climate smart future. For those focused on coral reefs, the Coral Bleaching Toolkit & Comprehensive Guide (and its accompanying checklist for marine managers) is a must-have. We go through what it is, why it’s happening, how to monitor and report instances of bleaching, and how to give the reef a better chance of recovery.
I worked with our Global Conservation Science Team in the summer of 2023 (shout out to Dr. Andrea Rivera-Sosa) to get this into a digital format for the world to see.
Coral Bleaching Awareness Month (CBAM)
As the toolkit was taking shape, I got a hairbrained idea. What if we created a global holiday of sorts and dedicated an entire month to coral bleaching? We could get all kinds of organizations and influencers to join in. They could “bleach” their logos and use the tagline, “Life is better in color.” Then we provide education for anyone looking to get involved, including the new toolkit and checklist.
And just like that, the first Coral Bleaching Awareness Month kicked off in November 2023…
Its launch was a huge success thanks to our partnership with the International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI), joining together over 150 organizations to draw awareness to the bleaching crisis. And in 2024, my brilliant marketing coordinator recruited 60 influencers and 10 large accounts to spread awareness during CBAM 💥
Coral Bleaching Videos
To complement the campaign, we launched with a positive video and touched base mid-campaign with an urgency message. I hired a voice actor, wrote and edited scripts, and produced both videos for CBAM in 2023.
Coral Bleaching Supporting Articles
And we can’t forget about the support articles. No campaign is complete without them.

More to come…
